We’d love to hear from you. Please use this form so we can direct your message to the right place.
Are returns or exchanges accepted?
Pieces from The Artisan Archive are made to order or produced in limited quantities through our artisan and production partners. For this reason, all sales are final, and we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, preference, or fit.
We encourage you to review product measurements and sizing information carefully before placing your order. If you have questions about sizing, please contact us before purchasing.
What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
We stand behind the quality of everything we make. If your order arrives damaged, contains a significant manufacturing defect, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the issue.
Once reviewed, we’ll work with you toward an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances.
Are variations in handmade pieces considered defects?
Our pieces are made using handwoven, handspun, naturally derived, or artisan-produced materials. Slight variations in weave, texture, color, stitching, surface, or finish are inherent to these processes and are not considered defects.
These variations are part of the character and material history of each piece.
How long will my order take?
Many of our pieces are made to order. Estimated production timelines are listed on each product page and generally begin after your order is placed.
For made-to-order garments, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for production before shipment, unless otherwise noted.
If an unexpected delay significantly changes the estimated timeline for your order, we’ll contact you with an update and available options.
Why are made-to-order pieces final sale?
Producing to order allows us to make more intentionally—working in smaller quantities, reducing excess inventory, and honoring the time and material that go into each piece.
Rather than producing garments speculatively and relying on a high-volume returns model, our pieces begin their production journey once they have found their wearer.
How should I care for my TAA garment?
To preserve the integrity of the fabric, handloom construction, and delicate trims used throughout our garments, our pieces are dry clean only unless otherwise noted on the product page.
We recommend choosing a trusted dry cleaner experienced with delicate or specialty textiles. Please avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as these processes may affect the fabric, trims, hardware, or construction of the garment.
