The Foundation
Supporting the people and systems that keep craft traditions in motion.
The Artisan Archive Foundation is the nonprofit arm of The Artisan Archive, supporting place-based work across craft, culture, and ecological resilience. Donations help fund long-term partnerships with farmers, artisans, and local communities, investing directly in the knowledge, livelihoods, and infrastructure that allow living traditions to endure.

THE ARTISAN ARCHIVE is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit working at the intersection of craft, climate, and culture.
We partner with farmers, artisans, researchers, and local organizations to support underrepresented communities within the craft sector, and scale their impact.
Our goal is to honor the living systems behind material culture: indigenous seeds, regional fibers, artisan knowledge, intergenerational learning, and the livelihoods that allow these traditions to continue.
THE ARTISAN ARCHIVE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
