The Impact Lab traces clothing back to the systems that make it possible: via seed, string, and silhouette. Through long-term collaboration with farmers, artisans, and local communities, we invest in the knowledge, livelihoods, relationships, and regional infrastructure that allow craft traditions to endure.

The Indigenous Cotton Revival

Seed

The Indigenous Cotton Revival returns desi kapas to Punjab’s soil and supports the farmers cultivating it. This cotton becomes the backbone of our fabric.

The Weaving School

The Trinjan Weaving School creates the knowledge, tools, and community required to transform the harvested fiber into yarn and cloth, which is the key fabric of our collection.

The Salwar Project

The Salwar Project studies how that cloth becomes a garment—and how the final design can remain connected to its material and cultural lineage.
